Fun and there's plenty of stuff to do. Lots of local shops with plenty of fun things to eat. Is dog-friendly as long as you have your dog on a short leash.

Ran into Ralph's to get some stuff for our vacation. Decent selections, clean store and friendly staff. I'd say everything was fairly priced for being so close to the beach. They also have parking under ground so it makes it easier.

The view is phenomenal and the service is good. This place is located on the the boardwalk very close to the fire station. Parking is horrible. However, you are at the beach so it is understandable and walking a couple blocks by the beach isn't the worst thing that could happen to you. The food is nothing to write home about. We had the lobster Benedict and omelette and was not very impressed but had no complaints either i think it was commendable for the price. It was a run of the mill 2 or 3 egg omelette with an acceptable amount of lobster. I was expecting a huge line but got seated right away. I would return just for the view. Indoor and covered patio dining available.

Went to San Diego for the weekend with my family. It was nice to get away. I stopped by Ralph's to get some groceries. They had a nice selection of fish, so I purchased some salmon and scallops. I grilled the salmon with some dill infused butter. The scallops were pan seared with white wine, butter and lemon. The broccoli was roasted with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Thanks to Ralph's, it turned out great!

Ralph's grocery and Starbucks were great to have in the same spot. The store carries a wide variety of all the things we were looking for and the savings card allows for some good deals. It's got underground parking which is great as well. Friendly employees!!
